Recipients of PSC Small Grant Awards

The Social Science Data Analysis Network (SSDAN) plans to enhance SSDAN’s CensusScope website with various materials and visualizations to provide quick, accessible Census 2010 and current American Community Survey (ACS) data and information to non academic audiences including practitioners, local journalists, nonprofit organizations and informed citizens. SSDAN staff will also provide webinars and videos to support the use of these products and those made available from other sources including the US Census Bureau. Given the excitement and attention surrounding the decennial census and the relative obscurity of the intercensal ACS among non-specialists, interested journalists and other generalists are likely to gravitate much more around the releases of data following Census 2010. Furthermore, the project offers the ability to promote the work of related PSC research.
