Lydia Wileden holds a PhD in Sociology and Public Policy from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on measuring neighborhood perceptions and reputation and documenting processes of neighborhood change.

Wileden’s dissertation won an honorable mention from the Proquest Distinguished Dissertation awards.
