Zoey Chopra
About:
Zoey Chopra is an MD/PhD candidate (Economics) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a trainee of the University of Michigan Population Studies Center. Zoey’s fields are behavioral/experimental economics, industrial organization, and labor. Zoey graduated with Honors from Columbia University in 2018, with a BA in Economics-Mathematics, Biochemistry, and Classics.
Zoey’s economics research explores how intersections of behavioral economics and IO can reframe how we understand the role of information in decision-making, particularly in healthcare environments.
Zoey’s policy research focuses on legislation and reform transforming healthcare, including payment reform, reproductive healthcare, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zoey’s clinical research investigates patient and provider decision-making as well as novel methods for the evaluation and improvement of diagnostics and therapeutics.
