Haorui is a graduate student in Sociology and a trainee at the University of Michigan Population Studies Center. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 2025, with a Minor in Statistics. He is interested in using quantitative methods to study the role of education in social mobility, paying attention to the experiences of China.
