May 25, 2012

The inaugural Marshall Weinberg Population, Development, and Climate Change Fellow, Christopher Nolte, intends to use his award to study the effects on poor Brazilians of recent Amazon rain forest conservation efforts. Administered jointly by PSC and U-M’s School of Natural Resources, this Weinberg fellowship provides graduate students the opportunity to field test their ideas about population and the environment. It is one of three research fellowships supported by Marshall Weinberg at PSC.
