Studies by James Wagner and Steven Heeringa focus on identifying factors that protect or pose risks to the emotional well-being and mental health of soldiers and veterans. Data collected from the Study to Assess Risk and Resilience in Service – Longitudinal Study (STARRS-LS), on which Wagner and Heeringa are PIs, are an essential component of this work.
