Susan Murphy will be among the top data scientists speaking at the inaugural data science symposium hosted by Michigan’s Institute for Data Science (MIDAS), October 6, 2015. “The Future of Data Science: A Convergence of Academia, Industry and Government” will highlight current data science research, examine challenges in health, leaning analytics, social science, and transportation, discuss initiatives and partnerships, and explore academia-industry partnerships and other faculty opportunities.
