Stephenson assessing in-home HIV testing and counseling for male couples

Currently, men who have sex with men are the only group in the U.S. experiencing increases in HIV infections. Given the need to improve testing for and communication about HIV among male couples, Rob Stephenson is beginning an NICHD-funded study of the effectiveness of at-home testing and counseling for HIV among male couples. He’s also looking for differences between couples in which one partner is HIV-positive and couples who don’t know their HIV status or believe themselves to be HIV-negative.
