SRC’s use of random probability sampling featured in HuffPo’s short history of election polling methods

In a discussion of the past and future of election polling practices, Mark Blumenthal (Survey Monkey), says that, misfires notwithstanding, polls have adapted their means and methods over the years “to deliver representative and reliable data.” Blumenthal cites SRC’s American National Election Studies as “the preeminent academic survey on political attitudes in the United States.”
