July 01, 2013
Sarah Seelye won a 2013-14 grant from the Population Studies Center’s Alumni Graduate Student Support Fund to help cover costs associated with conducting, transcribing, and analyzing interviews with current and former residents of Detroit. Seelye is conducting field research in a depopulated Detroit neighborhood to examine mobility decisions and sense of place among those who leave and those who continue to reside in neighborhoods with significant population loss.
