Russell Sage 2017 Summer Institute in Computational Social Science, June 18-July 1. Application deadline Feb 17.

The first RSF Institute in Computational Social Science will be held at Princeton University, June 18-July 1, 2017. The purpose of the Institute is to introduce graduate students and beginning faculty in the social and data sciences to the use of digital-age data sources and methods to conduct social research. Topics covered will include text as data, website scraping, digital field experiments, non-probability sampling, mass collaboration, and ethics. **Applications are due Friday, Feb 17.**Most workshop costs for accepted applicants will be covered, and a travel stipend will also be provided.
