O’Neil, Farley present work at Du Bois King Symposium on Race Relations and Economic Inequality

PSC Researchers Meghan O’Neil and Ren Farely, along with Zahra Makki, presented their work on “New Patterns of Residential Integration in Metropolitan Detroit” at the 2018 Symposium Examining Race and Economic Inequality on the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of W.E.B. Du Bois and the 50th Anniversary of the Assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., held at the HBCU Clark Atlanta University. Dr. O’Neil also presented her paper on “Housing Policy, Race, Inequality, and Disparate Impact” at the same event, with support provided by Univ of Michigan’s Multi-Cultural Affairs Office, the Russel Sage Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of NY, and the NSF-ASA Fund to Advance the Discipline.
