Nobel laureate Angus Deaton, David Lam, and colleagues discuss global poverty, 10/5, 4pm

U-M’s William Davidson Institute is hosting a discussion with Sir Angus Deaton, a Nobel Prize-winning economist whose work has changed how many think about both global wealth and poverty. The panel discussion will include Renuka Gadde, vice president-Global Health at Becton Dickinson; David Lam, research professor and director at U-M’s Institute for Social Research; and Jan Svejnar, professor of Global Political Economy and director of the Center on Global Economic Governance at Columbia University.Thurs, Oct 5, 4 pm, Robertson Auditorium, Ross School of Business.
