Murphy says mobile sensor data will allow adaptive interventions for maximizing healthy outcomes

The goal of the NIH-funded Mobile Sensor Data-to-Knowledge (MD2K) project is to develop ways to process complex physical, biological, and behavioral health data from wearable sensors into actionable health information. In discussing MD2K’s use in interventions, project team member Susan Murphy says: “We will develop data analysis methods that will continually analyze and reanalyze individual responses to cell phone interventions. Our data analysis methods will incorporate how individuals respond to the intervention to individualize when, where and what interventions will be most effective.”
