Miller notes impact on household finances and coverage for people of color if Affordable Care Act is dismantled

If the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is dismantled, the communities it helped the most stand to lose the most – people of color. “It’s been well-established at this point that one of the biggest impacts that health insurance has is that it improves your household finances and protects you from unexpected medical bills, which can be really devastating,” said Sarah Miller, PSC Faculty Associate, and assistant professor of business economics and public policy.
