Miech: Percent of HS seniors reporting their parents’ acceptance of marijuana use triples over past 4 decades

In a recent Monitoring the Future report, researcher Richard Miech and colleagues say that – after a 39-year hiatus – MTF once again surveyed teens about perceived parental disapproval of marijuana use. They found: “for regular marijuana use, 13% of 12th graders do not think their parents would disapprove in 2017, which is more than three times higher than the 4% average for 1976-1979.”
