Studying patterns of sexual relationships and contraceptive use among young women, Yasamin Kusunoki, Jennifer Barber, and colleagues find that poor women have fewer but longer relationships and use less effective contraception methods less frequently than more advantaged women. The researchers also found a few differences by race and religiosity.
