Krause finds aging linked to religious involvement in most countries

Neal Krause and R. David Hayward conducted an 11-year, 80-nation study that examined changes in religious involvement during older adulthood. Their findings indicate that about 30% of people change their religious affiliations during this life stage, and in most countries, aging was linked to more frequent service attendance and greater importance ascribed to religion.
