The Institute for Social Research’s program in Society, Population, and Environment (SPE) focuses on social change and social issues worldwide, with long-term programs of research in both North America and South Asia. The Society, Population, and Environment Program is organized around four themes: * Social Organization, Social Relationships, and Social Psychology * Population Dynamics and Family Change * Environmental Change * New Methods for Social ResearchThe Program also involves substantial educational activities at the post-doctoral, doctoral, and undergraduate levels.
