ISR’s Jacob, Dynarski and team evaluate effectiveness of youth policy interventions in new U-M initiative

Susan Dynarski, Brian Jacob, and Robin Tepper Jacob, researchers in U-M’s new Youth Policy Lab, analyze data from Michigan social services agencies and public schools to quantify the issues faced by providers and youth and the effectiveness of their programs. This initiative responds to the growing demand for rigorous evidence on likely outcomes of proposed policy interventions. A partnership between the the Ford School of Public Policy and the Survey Research Center, the lab is supported by a $2.6 million grant from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.
