Inglehart on declining income of white working-class Americans

Rising inequality has meant that white working class Americans, who once reaped a proportionate share of the growing economy and related resources from rising standards of living, are lagging in these areas. In the past 30 years, their share of the total income sank from 45% to 27%. ISR’s Ronald Inglehart says of the US economy: ““Rewards are being sucked up at the top to a degree that is stunning.”
