Frey on why Michigan needs more newcomers

This piece looks at the relatively low level of college-educated residents in Michigan and what to do about it. Bill Frey says that says Michigan’s loss of population to other states since the 1990s bodes poorly for the state economy because movers between states are more likely to have college degrees and Michigan is in “a part of the country that’s typically not growing much from migration.”
