Former PSC trainee and econ student Bryan Stuart wins Dorothy S Thomas Award at PAA

Former PSC trainee Bryan Stuart has been awarded the Population Association of America’s Dorothy Thomas Award for the best graduate student paper on the interrelationships among social, economic and demographic variables. Stuart won the award for his paper “The Long-Run Effects of Recessions on Education and Income.” PAA made the award to Stuart on April 27 during its Annual Meeting in Denver. Stuart is the fourth consecutive PSC trainee and economics PhD to win the award, following Eric Chyn (2017), Jason Kerwin (2016), and Olga Malkova (2015).
