Farley comments on aspirations of young college grads with creative and tech skills

Breathing new life into old factories is a common challenge to “rust belt” leaders and appealing to youth is a big part of the challenge. “Many of these people are looking for an urban lifestyle, and it’s too expensive to move to San Francisco, Seattle,” said Ren Farley, Research Professor Emeritus at Population Studies Center. “It’s young college graduates who have got some creative skills or advance training in AI or computer science.”
