Buchmueller and others express optimism about current and future impacts of ACA

Some said the Affordable Care Act would lead employers to drop health care coverage. But new data indicate most companies have retained health insurance for their employees. In addition, millions of previously uninsured low-income Americans now have coverage. Despite an initially painful start to the ACA system, including the troubled introduction of HealthCare.gov, Thomas Buchmueller says even the [state-run health insurance] “exchanges have been less of a disrupter than expected.”
