Bleakley says reversing US trade policies could be ‘recipe for slowdown’

Hoyt Bleakley says the new administration’s threats to withdraw from NAFTA represent “a reversal in trade policy of a magnitude that hasn’t been seen in decades, possibly since the 1920s.” Bleakley warns that a withdrawal would disrupt supply chains and increase trade costs, which could lead to a slowing of the American economy.
