Bailey and Dynarski cited in piece on why quality education should be a “civil and moral right”
May 14, 2013
In an opinion piece on addressing the income gap in education, David Wilson cites the work of Martha Bailey and Susan Dynarski documenting large disparities in college completion rates by income group. Bailey and Dynarski also note that virtually all of the gains in college completion in recent decades have been among those from upper-income groups, primarily women from households making upward of $100,000 per year.
