Armstrong’s research shows parental advice helps lower risk of campus sexual assaults

A new poll finds that 1 in 5 women who attended college in the past 4 years say they were sexually assaulted. Elizabeth Armstrong says that her research indicates that parents can help decrease the risk by advising their college-bound children, especially their daughters, about how to handle campus social hazards. She provides four such pieces of advice in this WP column.
