Anne Clark awarded the 2019 Sarri Family Fellowship for work on educational attainment of students from low income families

PSC Trainee Anne Clark was honored with the 2019 Sarri Family Fellowship for Research on Educational Attainment of Children in Low Income Families. Clark is a Sociology PhD student working with Jennifer Barber and Elizabeth Bruch, studying housing instability, gender and sexuality, adulthood, stratification, and mixed methods.The Sarri Family Fellowship supports a graduate student or post-doctoral fellow at the University of Michigan to conduct research related to improving the educational attainment of students from low income families. The fellowship is primarily intended for social science research on improving the chances for low income students to attend and succeed in post-secondary educational institutions.
