8-week Data Incubator training program prepares grad students, postdocs, faculty for industry careers as data scientists

The Data Incubator is an intensive 8-week fellowship that prepares master’s and PhD students and postdocs in STEM and social science fields to seek industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows (see application link below) and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries.Our mission is to foster better understanding and adoption of data science through 1) training companies and individuals on the latest data science techniques through customized on-site and public offerings, and 2) sourcing new hires from our Fellowship program, which admits just the top 2% of PhD applicants in each cohort.Who Should Apply? Anyone who has already obtained a master’s or PhD degree (including postdocs and faculty) or who is within one year of graduating with a master’s or PhD is welcome to apply. Applications from international students are welcome. Everyone else is encouraged to sign-up for a future session.Locations: Fellows have the option to participate in person in New York City, the SF Bay Area, Boston, or Washington DC – or to do so online.Dates: All sections will meet from January 7, 2019 to March 1, 2019.
