William Frey works with Cathy Sun and lead the research project to produce new race-age-generation projections for each of the 50 states through 2060 in addition to analysis of national demographic trends in the voting age population, eligible voters, and actual voters. William Frey will co-author two major papers of 30 – 40 pages each with Ruy Teixeira and Robert Griffin of the Voter Study Group: one on evolving party coalitions and the other on new population projections and their implications for the future of American politics and democracy. Frey will also participate in the project advisory board, seminar meetings, and monthly project meetings with Teixeira and other members of the multi-institutional team.
