PDHP Workshop: Adaptive Interventions
Please join for the next installment of the PDHP workshop series: Adaptive Interventions, presented by Shiyu Zhang, Lizbeth ‘Libby’ Benson, and Walter Dempsey, of the University of Michigan’s Data Science for Dynamic Decision Making (D3) Center. This workshop demonstrates the conceptual and methodological foundations of adaptive interventions and just-in-time adaptive interventions. It will also cover the corresponding experimental designs needed to optimize such interventions, including sequential multiple assignment randomized trials (SMARTs) and micro-randomized trials (MRTs). The workshop will then transition to introducing a selection of advanced topics on using AI to further personalize adaptive interventions, before concluding with practical recommendations and a dedicated question & answer session.
Topics include:
- Conceptual & methodological foundations of adaptive interventions
- Corresponding optimal experimental designs, including SMARTs and MRTs
- Advanced topics including AI personalization, practical recommendations, and audience Q&A
As always, this workshop is free of cost and open to the public, so please feel free to distribute this message to others who may be interested. For more information and to RSVP, please visit pdhp.isr. umich.edu/workshops. Light refreshments will be served for those attending in-person.
