Under this subaward, Ghimire will serve as Project Co-Investigator and Institutional PI at the University of Michigan. In collaboration with Wilkens, Glick, and Yabiku, he will share the responsibility of the project and oversee each phase of the project. Specific tasks conducted at the University of Michigan include: 1) providing expertise in migration and social change in Nepal, 2) translation and backtranslation of the data collection instruments, 3) facilitating human subjects approval at University of Michigan and in Nepal, 4) training and supervision of the data collection and data processing activities at the field site in Nepal (e.g., collecting the data, compiling the data, and tracking participants) and, 5) supervising and conducting some of the data analyses and dissemination.
