University of Michigan (UM) researchers will collaborate with MoreBetter and its corporate partners to study the efficacy of different Cannabis chemical compositions in providing pain relief and improving overall quality of life for individuals with the following chronic pain conditions: fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis of the knee and/or hip. UM researchers will guide the overall research design and develop the survey measurement instruments and procedures. MoreBetter and its corporate partners will recruit participants, collect data through their proprietary applications, and deliver a de-identified dataset to UM researchers at the end of the study. UM researchers will analyze the data and submit a project report to MoreBetter with the study results and conclusions. UM researchers will be free and encouraged to submit the results to peer-reviewed journals for publication.
