Recipients of PSC Small Grant Awards

As a dreamer of a world with negligible to no inequalities among populations, my work in exposing the inequalities in and advancing access of abortion care in Uganda, a country with restricted abortion care access laws and policies, will ensure that stakeholders are able to turn to policy conversations that can identify ways through which women can realize the power over their bodies. At completion, my research hopes to cause advocacy gains for the rights of women that cannot access this care.

By facilitating costs associated with field transportation to conduct interviews and office supplies, the award is not only enabling me to accomplish my dissertation research but also accelerating my completion rate. I will forever hold the Marshall Weinberg Fund donors in high spirits for the generosity towards my work.
