In her dual role as Director of Administration for the Administrative Core and Center Administrator for each of the centers it serves, Catherine Seay-Ostrowski serves as the chief administrative support in partnership with Center Directors to build and deploy administrative support structures to assure responsive, best-in-class, stewardship-oriented administrative services for each center community. This includes support in budget and financial oversight, research administration, human resources, facilities, IT, student services, and more. The ISR Administrative Core collectively aims to provide support which can best complement and enable the work of faculty and their research teams, while assuring a high standard of compliance and stewardship representing the University of Michigan and ISR.

Cathy’s professional interests lay mainly in team-building and staff development, and synergy in administrative systems and processes. Her personal loves are “faith, family, and fun by way of travel, music, and other experiences!”
